How do I override the default sort order for an Auto-Populating Category (APC)?

You can change the sort order for an Auto Populating category in 2 easy steps:

  1. From the Control Panel’s Content Management page, edit the Custom fields (accessible via the tool tip next to the page) for the APC you want to edit.
  2. Appending the end of the URL in the Custom Module Frontend File with one of the following:
    1. highest to lowest price: &listing_price+DESC
    2. lowest to highest price: &listing_price+ASC
    3. living area: &living_area+DESC
    4. most recent: &listing_date+DESC
