Why is a template not displaying properly?

Solution :
If a Pyro2 site isn’t displaying the way you believe it should, you can isolate the problem by asking the following questions:

  1. Does this problem happen accross all websites?
    • if yes, then the problem is probably a coding problem with Pyro2
  2. Does this problem happen accross all variations for a given template?
    • if yes, then the problem is probably with the template
  3. Does this problem happen on multiple sites that all have the same template/variation?
    • if yes, then the problem is probably with the variation
  4. Does only one site exhibit this problem?
    • if yes, double check the following :
      1. There are no local CSS modifications that are causing this problem
      2. The correct Template and Variation are being used (Preferences -> Page Display -> Template Name / Variation)

Overview :All Pyro2 sites contain a pair of CSS files that define the way the look:

  • Template - defines general position of elements in the site
  • Variation - defines colors and specific position of elements in the site

All Pyro2 sites also support local (individual) customizations. These are managed in the backend by going to Preferences -> Designer.
